Thermalright has just announced a new CPU Cooler in their True Spirit BW Rev A. This is the latest iteration of their popular 140 mm fan ready tower-type cooler. This revision of the cooler features a lowered heatsink height by 5 mm, thinning the base a little, and compacting the fin stack (without reducing the number of fins).
The cooler makes use of six 6 mm-thick nickel-plated copper heatpipes that bring heat up from the mirror-finish nickel-plated copper base and up through the fin stack. The cooler can fit a pair of 140 mm fans, and Thermalright includes one of their own TY-142 fan with the cooler. With this fan installed the cooler has the official dimensions of 80 mm x 155 mm x 165 mm (WxLxH) and weighs in at 770 g.
The cooler will support pretty much every modern socket type including the newest LGA2011v3, LGA1150, AM3+, and FM2+. Thermalright may price this cooler on par with the already existing True Spirit 140 at $55.
