Thermalright Reveals Silver Arrow IB-E Extreme Rev. B CPU Cooler

Thermalright has just released their Silver Arrow IB-E Extreme Rev. B CPU cooler. The big design change is that the fin-stack is slightly offset from the base in a direction that makes room in the memory area and top-most expansion slot of a typical motherboard. This should allow for easy access to your memory as well as M.2 slot closest to your CPU socket.

The cooler features a mirror-finished nickel-plated copper base and eight 6 mm heatpipes. These heatpipes go up into each of the two heatsink towers. This is one large heatsink, which measures 155 mm x 130 mm x 163 mm (LxWxH) and weighs in at 850 g without the fans installed.

The cooler includes two of Thermalright’s TY-143 140 mm fans, which spin between 600 to 2,500 RPM, pushing 31.4 to 130 CFM of air, with a noise output ranging between 21 to 45 dBA. With both of these fans installed the cooler can handle thermal loads of up to 320W. The cooler supports all mainstream sockets as well as LGA2066. No word on pricing.
