A Closer look
Let’s take a closer look at the physical unit. The front has ThermalTake engraved in the mesh face cover with red sliders for each channel.
Here’s a closer look at the sliders.
Let’s check out the back of the unit, we find that ThermalTake has bundled the wires together taking advantage of the open space behind the PCB board.
Unwrapping the wires, we find the power line is on the left, at first it looked like all cables are permanently attached. However, I was quickly corrected and verified that the cables are removable by pulling them down, helping eliminate unused cables and replacing cable if they become damaged.
Here’s a closer look at the 4-pin fan controllers. Since we’re providing power through the individual channels, only two wires are necessary. The connectors allow capable of supporting PWM fans and are clearly labeled as to what channel they belong to.
Taking a quick look at the side of the unit, we find three different mounting points enabling you to adjust the distance based on your specific case making it flush with the chassis face.
