Lighting & Software
When you power your system on you’ll notice the memory will light up quite nicely. By default the memory runs a sort of rainbow wave effect, but if you want to configure it you’ll have to download Thermaltake’s TOUGHRAM software. The software has a ton of built-in effects and works as expected.
Overall I think the lighting on this memory is excellent! I really like how you have lighting on two different levels on each module, it really makes this kit stand out!

The software also allows you to see information on the modules you have installed.
You can also set specific notifications.
If you don’t want to use the TOUGHRAM software to control the RGB lighting on the modules you can use your motherboard’s RGB software. Gigabyte’s RGB Fusion software had no problem detecting the memory.
