Tile Sport Bluetooth Tracker Review

Final Thoughts
For me Tile is a game-changer! The two things I misplace the most are my phone and my keys. There have been times where I was actually late going places because I couldn’t find my keys or phone. Now with Tile my keys will never be misplaced and if for some reason I can’t find my phone I can ring it just like it can ring my Tile.

On top of being able to ring my Tile if I happen to misplace whatever item it is attached to I can see where my Tile was last seen on a map. This is really great as it gives you a clear idea of where your Tile is. On top of that if that location changes, say of someone stole what you had your Tile attached to the Tile app updates the location of each tile it detects in range. With more than 10 million tiles out there and a very large community it would be very hard to not locate your Tile.

We of course took a look at the Tile Sport which is designed for the person who is out in the elements. It has a rugged design as well as IP68 water resistance so it can survive in 1.5 meters of water for 30 minutes. The Tile Sport is part of the Pro Series so it has 2 times the range of the original Tile and is 2 times louder as well.

The one and only real downside to the Tile is that it does not have a replaceable battery. So once the battery on the Tile runs out it is pretty much a dead piece of technology. From what we’ve read Tile’s typically last 1 year from the date of activation. After that one year you have the ability to replace your Tile with the company’s reTile program that lets you send your Tile back to the company to be recycled and you get a discount on a new Tile. So instead of the normal $35 for the Tile Sport you’ll only pay $25. The app will alert you when it is time to replace your Tile.

If you happen to misplace something in your life the Tile Sport is the perfect thing for you. It has made my life a lot less stressful and I would recommend it to anyone. Right now the Tile Sport is selling for $34.99 at my favorite online retailer. You can also grab a 2-pack for $49.99 or a 4-pack for $89.99. Overall ThinkComputers gives the Tile Sport a 9 out of 10 score.

– Small and easy to attach to pretty much anything
– Easy to setup and use
– IP68 water resistance
