There will be a sequel to Titanfall, but you will have to wait a while for it. On EA’s latest earnings call they revealed some information about Titanfall 2. The game will not be coming out till at least the second half of 2016, more than likely closer to 2017.
EA’s Chief Financial Officer, Blake Jorgensen said in response to a question about Titanfall 2, “You should assume that’s not in fiscal ’16; it’s more likely in fiscal ’17”. EA’s 2017 fiscal year runs from April 1, 2016 to March 31, 2017.
Vince Zampella who is the studio head said that the game will be a “multiplatform” game suggesting that there will be a PlayStation 4 version. The original Titanfall was exclusive to Xbox consoles and PC. Last month Respawn also said that the game could feature a traditional single-player campaign, which the first game was missing.
