TRYX STAGE Liquid CPU Cooler Review

TRYX STAGE TRYX STAGE

Final Thoughts on the TRYX STAGE

Coming in on the heels of two well-liked AIOs from TRYX, the STAGE had a reputation to live up to. And thankfully, I think it did a pretty good job of that, aside from a few minor setbacks. As far as performance goes, this cooler presented the best idle temperatures we have seen in our new test bed, and our load tests found this cooler right in the middle of the pack. The same can be said for the noise output of the STAGE. Build quality is great, aside from the magnets that hold the display stage in place. This is an easy fix, so hopefully TRYX can get it taken care of before it becomes a headache. Installation is a breeze, as is the case with most modern AIOs, and the reduced cable clutter from the fans is a welcome feature.

As far as looks go, I think the unique design of the STAGE’s…stage…is a pretty cool design in theory. Unfortunately, it is held back by a lack of preset animations. Including just four options from the factory, with one not even functional, is just sad. Especially when previous TRYX coolers had over a dozen animations out of the box. Thankfully a bit of time with MidJourney allowed me to come up with a few animations of my own, and I think they turned out pretty good for the amount of time I spent getting the prompts to create a look I was going for.

TRYX STAGE

Overall, the TRYX STAGE adds another good looking and good performing AIO to their lineup. Solid cooling performance across multiple fan speed and noise levels makes this a good option for maximizing your noise to performance ratio. Add in the cool stage design with the dual 4″ displays, and you have a great all-in-one cooler to help your system stay cool and look good doing it. Priced at $209.99 at our favorite online store, the TRYX STAGE earns an 8 out of 10.
