Ubisoft registers a domain name for Prince of Persia 6

Ubisoft is dusting its old but critically well-known game ‘Prince of Persia’. The IP hasn’t seen any light of the day since its last game released in 2010 with The Forgotten Sands.

The Prince of Persia series is anything but forgotten. But fans have been waiting patiently for either new or remastered series. Based on recent findings, Ubisoft seems very interested enough to register a domain.

It all starts with a domain…

prince of persia 6 domain registration

At the time of writing, Ubisoft registered the domain ‘Princeofpersia6.com‘. The nameservers also are redirected to Ubisoft’s servers. Though the domain name doesn’t lead anywhere. It is likely the game might not be named Prince of Persia 6 but it indicates a sequel rather than a reboot. There’s no news of Ubisoft developing this game. There were leaks about seeing The Sands Within remake. Another source even indicated of having these titles appear on the PlayStation 5 and the Xbox Series X by the end of this year.

If Ubisoft releases the remastered version for the PC, it is naturally going to appear in UPlay. Even Ubisoft’s upcoming Assassin’s Creed game ‘Vahala’ is expected to be on Uplay.  Ubisoft has been working closely with GeForce NOW, but nothing is known about having the PoP franchise in the game streaming platform… yet.

As for Prince of Persia 6? We’ll just have to wait and watch.
