If you are a professional gamer, thinking about becoming a professional gamer, or just play competitively one of the most important things in your arsenal is your monitor. You can’t have some old 60 Hz monitor and expect to compete with players rocking 144 Hz or higher monitors. Having a higher refresh rate monitor is better for fast-paced FPS games as it reduces motion blur, which will in-turn help you get that headshot. Today we are taking a look at Viotek’s latest gaming monitor, the GFT27CXB. The GFT27CXB is a 27-inch 1080p monitor which features a TN panel, 240 Hz refresh rate, 1ms response time (overdrive), 99% sRGB coverage, and much more.

The Viotek GFT27CXB comes in a pretty typical monitor box. On the front we have a picture of the display and some of the main features are highlighted. There really is not much on the back besides the product name.
Opening the box up we can see that the monitor is nicely protected, which is a good thing because the box was pretty beat up. Besides the monitor inside you’ll find a user’s guide, power adapter, power cable, and DisplayPort cable.
