Welcome to the new ThinkComputers.org!

Well if you are reading this you are on the new ThinkComputers site. As you can tell the site has been completely redesigned. We have done this for many reasons, but the biggest reason is for you our readers. User experience is very important to us and we want the best experience for our readers.

This first big issue with the old site was at times it took quite a while to load. This was because we were on a shared cloud hosting service. We knew this had to be changed so we have moved from that service to a dedicated server. This not only gives us more control over the site, but also improves load times.

Since we decided to move to a new server we thought it would be a good idea to sort of start from scratch. The old website layout worked, but it just seemed sort of dated. Also it did not look that great in all browsers. We obviously wanted to change that so you have what you are looking at now. We think that this layout works very well and is modern.

Now I wouldn’t say that we rushed the release of the site, but we wanted to get this out to you guys as quickly as possible. We knew that many people were frustrated with the old site and we were as well. So this layout is good to go, but there are some things that we may have missed so we ask you if you see an error or something not loading correctly please let us know in the comments below. Also if you have any suggestions please feel free to speak your mind, we are always looking to improve.

Enjoy the new site!
