Gaming & Performance
When it comes to gaming I tested this display with mostly FPS games including Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, Apex Legends, and Overwatch 2. As I always say when reviewing high refresh rate monitors if you are moving from a lower refresh rate (60, 75, etc) you are going to notice a big difference moving up to 165 Hz.
The 34-inch size of this display is one I am very familiar as I used a 34-inch display for years before I moved up to a 49-inch display. This type of display with its 1500R curve is really great for immersive games that offer open world environments or racing games. FPS games running at 3440 x 1440 are also great and I didn’t find myself moving my head to the left or right all that often.
We use the Datacolor SpyderX Pro to test the display. Out of the box we find 100% of sRGB, 84% of AdobeRGB, and 90% of P3 color spaces.
We also measure a brightness level of 352 at the display’s highest brightness setting on the “Standard” monitor profile.
We can also see the brightness levels at all of the different profiles at their default settings. It is worth noting that the highest brightness recorded was on the “FPS” gaming mode.
