One of our favorite PC cases of last year was the HYTE Y60. It really stood out with its 45-degree angle panel and was definitely made as case to really showcase your build. Well HYTE is back with the Y40, which comes in as a more conventional case without the drastic 45-degree angle panel and a small overall footprint. You are still going to get front and side tempered glass panels, the included PCI-Express 4.0 riser, two included cooling fans, and the same three unique color options. Can HYTE impress us once again? Read on as we find out!

Packaging
The Y40 comes in a nice retail box. On the front there is a sticker that lets us know we have the white version of the case. Opening the box up we find the case nicely packed and protected inside.
The case is fully wrapped in plastic and each of the glass panels have film on them so they will not get scratched during transport. As far as accessories you do get a box of goodies which includes all of your mounting hardware, zip ties, and a 3.5mm audio splitter for the front audio combo port.
