You Can Now Get Your Hands On A GeForce RTX 3060 For As Low As 270 USD!!

A huge number of used graphics cards have appeared on the Chinese Web; thanks to the Chinese crypto mining crackdown.

This is good news for gamers, as GeForce RTX 30 graphics cards are now available at mouthwatering prices. China’s crackdown against bitcoin in the Sichuan region has forced many local miners to relocate or sell their equipment promptly if relocating isn’t an option. Since the past two months, GPU prices have declined drastically.

Crypto Sale 2

The Block has compiled some of the GeForce RTX 30 cards listings on flash sale. Under the flash sale, a large batch of 3060 is offered in the range of 2,200 yuan to 2,899 yuan. As per The Block, the seller has dropped the price to 1,760 yuans (270 USD) after potential buyers offered much less.

Another seller is selling his gaming laptops which were purchased with the intention to utilize their discrete GPUs for mining. A laptop featuring 3060 is being offered at around 1000 USD, which is not a good deal anymore.

One week before all these flash sales, miners were selling these graphics in bulk with the mining rig as well. Since then, the prices have been falling.

With markets being flooded with miners, a second-hand GPU purchase is based on pure luck. A GPU for mining is used way more extensively than in normal circumstances. A GPU under 24/7 operation at its full speed and overclocked memory can cause issues in the future.
