Intel Arc Desktop Graphics Card Shown off at Intel Extreme Masters

Over the weekend the Intel Extreme Masters (IEM) event was taking place in Dallas. At the event Intel had one of their limited edition graphics cards on display, which we assume is the Arc A770. It is unclear if this was actually a working sample, prototype, or simply just a mockup as it was not inside a system, instead it was being shown off in a clear box.

The pictures that have surfaced of the card at the event don’t really reveal anything that we haven’t seen so far, besides the placement of the power connectors. We can now see that Intel is going for the typical placement of the power connectors as the card on display has your standard 8-pin and 6-pin PCI-Express power connectors. Intel will not be using the new 12-pin power connector that is expected to be used by most next-generation graphics cards.

It is unclear if this card is the Arc A770 or Arc A780, but we can assume this card is based on the Alchemist ACM-G10 GPU with full 32 Xe-Core configuration and 16GB of GDDR6 memory.
