The CPU cooler that we are taking a look at today is probably one of the most anticipated air coolers we’ve seen in a while. When we first posted about it everyone asked when it was coming out and now it is finally here! The cooler that I am talking about is the Cooler Master V8 ACE 3DHP. This cooler of course continues the iconic V8 engine look that made previous V8 air coolers so popular back in the day! The new Cooler Master V8 ACE 3DHP continues that tradition, but this time the company is introducing a completely different approach to moving heat away from the processor. Rather than relying on a massive dual-tower heatsink, the V8 ACE 3DHP uses Cooler Master’s patented three-dimensional heat-pipe technology to deliver high-end cooling performance from a more compact single-tower design.
At the center of the Cooler Master V8 ACE 3DHP are two 3DHP heat pipes and four superconductive composite heat pipes, which work together to capture and distribute heat across the aluminum fin stack. Cooler Master pairs this hybrid heat-pipe arrangement with two extra-thick 120 x 30 mm fans operating at different maximum speeds to maintain static pressure while reducing harmonic resonance. The cooler also features adjustable side fans, clearance for memory modules up to 45 mm tall, a six-year warranty, and separate Intel and AMD versions with platform-specific base geometry and thermal tuning. What comes with the Cooler Master V8 ACE 3DHP CPU Cooler?
The V8 ACE 3DHP comes in a nice large retail box. On the front we have a picture of the cooler and it does let us know we have the V8-A, or AMD version of the cooler. There is of course a V8-I, or Intel version of the cooler too. On the back of the box you’ll find a full list of specifications as well as a QR code for the manual.
