Enermax’s newest CPU cooler uses an interesting set of raised notches in each fin to change the airflow of the unit.
Our rep explained that these raised notches act like a wing to expedite airflow along the bottom of the fin. This lets air flow faster through the heat sink. The hole works a little like a chimney, bringing air up as air flows over. We asked for an airflow diagram, so hopefully Enermax will be able to produce one and use it to help explain the design better!
The ETS-N30-HE/TAA cooler will be available later in the first quarter for $25 to $30. There will be version with and without LEDs, and it will likely be using the new Twister pressure fans.
