Following up on our review of the HyperX Pulsefire Surge, we are back with another HyperX gaming mouse, the Pulsefire FPS Pro. Armed with a Pixart 3389 optical sensor capable of tracking up to 16,000 DPI, and Omron switches for reliable, long-lasting clicks, the FPS Pro looks to be a good gaming mouse on paper. Packaging
The HyperX Pulsefire FPS Pro comes wrapped in a mostly white retail box that shows off an angled view of the mouse inside. A few of the FPS Pro’s features like NGenuity compatibility and RGB lighting are highlighted on the front.
Looking at the back of the box we see a top-down view of the mouse and a few additional highlights, including a few images of the RGB lighting. A note regarding the included 2-year warranty and free technical support is also included, and lets gamers know that HyperX is ready to stand behind their products.
Accessories
Included with the Pulsefire FPS Pro are three simple items; a Quick Start Guide, a HyperX “welcome” card, and a support information card. The Quick Start Guide offers a few tips on adjusting the mouse via on-board controls, which is helpful at first, but the real customization comes from using the NGenuity application.
