abit Announces Mini-ITX Intel B760 Motherboards Under $100 US

abit, a Chinese manufacturer of motherboards, has recently unveiled two highly cost-effective Intel B760 designs in the compact Mini-ITX form factor.

abit is a Chinese manufacturer known for offering incredibly affordable and budget-friendly DIY solutions. The company has recently launched its latest series, the B760ITX D4, available in white and black variants. These motherboards share similar specifications and design elements.

The abit AB-B760ITX motherboards, when it comes to specifications, incorporate the LGA 1700/1800 CPU socket that offers compatibility with the 12th Gen, 13th Gen, and even the upcoming 14th Gen Desktop processors. The CPU is powered by a 9+1 Phase power delivery configuration, without a heatsink on top. These motherboards include two DDR4 DIMM slots capable of supporting speeds up to 4200 (OC) MT/s and capacities of up to 64 GB. Power is supplied via a single 8-pin connector and the standard 24-Pin ATX connector.

The abit B760ITX motherboards offer a range of I/O options, including a single PCIe Gen 4.0 x16 slot, an M.2 NVMe slot with Gen 4.0 support, conveniently located above the Intel B760 PCH heatsink, and four SATA III ports. abit has utilized an 8-layer PCB for enhanced durability and stable connections between components. The I/O panel consists of a single DP port, two HDMI ports, four USB 3.0 ports, two USB 2.0 ports, a 2.5 GbE LAN port, and a Realtek ALC 897 audio codec that powers the 3-channel audio jack. The white variant even includes a built-in WiFi module, while the black variant allows for easy installation of a WiFi module if desired.

When it comes to pricing, both abit Intel B760 ITX motherboards are attractively priced at 599 RMB, which is approximately $84 US. This stands as a highly affordable option compared to the $100 US and above alternatives commonly found in the US market. Even AMD A620 options with similar features are challenging to find at this price point.
