ADATA SD820 Portable Solid State Drive Overview
Taking a first look at the ADATA SD820 you’ll immediately notice just how small it is. The official dimensions are 71.3 x 39 x 13.65mm / 2.81 x 1.54 x 0.54inch so this is for sure one of the smallest drives from ADATA that we’ve seen. It is also quite light only weighing in at 26.5g.
We received the “Blue” version of the drive which is mostly black with blue accents towards one end. There is also a “Grey” version where these accents will be grey. On the main side of the drive you’ll find an ADATA logo. The blue accents are actually rubberized which make the drive easy to pick up, but also protect the drive. The drive does offer MIL-STD-810G 516.6 standard drop protection, which means it can withstand accidental drops from a height of 1.22 meters.
Flipping the drive over to the back there isn’t much on the back, but it does let us know the capacity, which is 2000GB. ADATA does offer the drive in 1000GB, 2000GB, and 4000GB versions.
On the end of the drive is going to be your USB-C connection. Remember this is a USB 3.2 gen 2×2 connection so we should see max speeds of 2000 MB/s. This connection is in a little hidden compartment. If you have that compartment closed this drive offers IP68 water and dust protection.

You only listed the price for the 2TB version, what about the others, what’s their price on those?
