About a month ago AMD cut the price of their flagship Ryzen processor, the Ryzen 7 1800X from $499 to $469, but the rest of the Ryzen lineup remained untouched. Well it looks like we have another price cut, this time it is for the Ryzen 7 1700X and Ryzen 7 1700. The Ryzen 7 1700X is now $349, down from its launch price of $399. The Ryzen 7 1700 (non-X) comes down to $319 from its original price of $329.
When these price cuts are not major, they will save you some money. This could could be a strategy by AMD to turn the heat up against Intel’s Core i7-7700K and the upcoming “Kabylake-X” Core i7-7740K and i5-7640X.
