Futuremark Releases PCMark 10 Benchmarking Software

Bechmarking remains an integral part of what we do here at ThinkComputers and what many PC users do to see how their PC stacks up against the competition. Futuremark’s PCMark suite is a great benchmark to test overall system performance and it has some really great tests the really will stress certain parts of your system, like the extended storage test we use in our SSD reviews. Futuremark has just released the 10th iteration of their popular PCMark benchmarking software.

PCMark 10 is based on real-world app and activities and should give you a good idea of overall system performance. Futuremark will be releasing three different versions of the software, Basic, Advanced, and Professional. The Basic version will be free of charge (available for download on June 22nd), while the Advanced version will retail for $29.99 and will be available on Steam.

About 10 years of computer experience. Been messing around with electronics since I was 5, got into computers when I was in highschool, been modding them ever since then. Very interested in how things work and their design.
