ASUS has announced that AMD will host an event at Gamescom 2024. At the previous Gamescom, AMD introduced the Radeon RX 7800XT and RX 7700XT graphics cards, shared significant updates on FSR3, and revealed the Radeon RX 7900 XTX Avatar Edition. This raises the question of whether AMD will unveil new products at this year’s Gamescom.
It’s noteworthy that AMD has not officially announced any events for Gamescom yet. However, the page for the ASUS Radeon RX 7000 “Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2” special edition graphics card mentions that such an event will occur. ASUS has even disclosed the event’s date.
To celebrate the launch of the campaign, one of the cards will also be given to a lucky participant in the AMD Gamescom Event on August 23.

It’s worth mentioning that last year, AMD began hinting at the “Gaming Festival 2” at Gamescom 2023 just a week before the event. However, the 2024 event might be different.
AMD has confirmed it will be at Gamescom 2024, but hasn’t announced any specific events. It might not be a livestream or significant product update; instead, it could be an event for attendees. In 2022, there were no product launches, and the event featured live demos, game showcases, and giveaways for nine hours.
