AMD Radeon RX 6800 XT Big Navi GPU alleged 3DMark benchmarks show better performance than RTX 3080 at 4K, slightly slower in Ray Tracing

AMD is bringing in its A-game with its next-gen hardware, and it looks like it’s not just the CPUs this time. The alleged benchmarks for AMD Radeon RX 6800XT Big Navi GPU have leaked, and they show the card outperforming the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 in everything but Ray Tracing. Read on!

The leak came from an AIB partner, with the numbers based on an engineering sample rather than the final retail product. This means there is room for improvement here. The leaked benchmarks include 3DMark figures for Firestrike Ultra, Time Spy Extreme, and Port Royal Default, all 4K, referring to a Big Navi Radeon RX 6000 series GPU labeled E438, allegedly the RX 6800 XT. Here’s a neat graphical representation from Harukzae5719, as always:

It looks like the AMD Radeon RX 6800 XT will go neck-to-neck with the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080, which will be interesting to see. AMD could even undercut NVIDIA on the pricing, and make this card very appealing to potential buyers.

AMD’s RDNA2 Big Navi GPUs officially launch on October 28. Thoughts? Hit us up in the comments, down below!
