AMD Radeon RX 7900 XT GPU Is Now Available For Just $799 ($100 under MSRP)

It appears that the RX 7900 XT graphics card is not performing well in terms of sales. Shortly after its release in December last year, the card was quickly discounted from its initial price of $899. Recently, the price dropped even further to $830, marking the lowest price the card has been offered for since its launch.

As of today, the reference model of the RX 7900 XT is available for purchase at $819, and the custom ASRock Phantom GPU is even cheaper at $799. This means that the graphics card is now $100 less expensive than its launch price, which is a significant drop considering it’s only been 80 days since its release.

In the UK, gamers can also purchase the RX 7900 XT for a lower price of £799.99 through Overclockers. The good news is that all cards are currently in stock and ready for shipping.

It’s worth noting that the price reduction only applies to the RX 7900 XT with the cut-down Navi 31 GPU and 20 GB VRAM. Unfortunately, the flagship RX 7900 XTX 24GB model is still not available at its original MSRP in many stores. However, the lowered price of $799 for the XT SKU is likely to create significant competition for the RTX 4080 series, as well as the RTX 4070 Ti, which is a slower card with only 12GB memory, but is still being sold at a higher price point of $799+.
