AMD wants retailers to limit Big Navi Radeon RX 6000 graphics cards to one unit per customer to avoid scalping

NVIDIA recently launched its RTX 3000 series of GPUs, which had a stock shortage due to limited stocks and scalpers. AMD has since then hinted that it will have enough stock, and now it looks like it is going the extra mile to keep its sales fair. A new leak shows that AMD could limit its next-gen Big Navi RDNA2 Radeon RX 6000 GPUs to one unit per customer.

The information comes from a leaked letter from AMD to its retailers, seen in a video by Red Gaming Tech:

The letter is asking the retailers to limit stocks of the upcoming Radeon RX 6000 GPUs to one per customer. This is a part of several recommendations that AMD is making in order to ensure genuine customers get the units and not scalpers that will resell the cards at higher prices. Take a look:

The cards are set to be revealed in a virtual event that will be held on October 28.
