A picture has emerged which seems to be from AMD’s internal presentation and shows the packaging for the Ryzen 7000 series and the Ryzen 9 SKUs which are going to cost more than $500. The packaging for Ryzen 7 and 5 series will be different.
The packaging shares some information regarding the pricing too and states that the Ryzen 7000 series pricing will be different than the Ryzen 5000 series. The pricing for the high-end models will be different.
According to the pricing information shared, we can confirm that the Ryzen 7 7800X exists, even if it is just in the internal planning stage at the moment. However, so far there have been no leaks from AMD or other rumors which have hinted towards it. There seems to be a huge disparity between the prices of the 5700X and the 5800X, probably because they were released at different times.
AMD will be launching the Ryzen 7000 series on the 15th of September and the series will be demonstrated ahead of the official launch during a dedicated event on August 29th.
