Antec High Current Gamer 750M 750W Power Supply Review

Antec HCG-750M Overview
The High Current Gamer 750M looks pretty much like your ordinary power supply. For being target at gamers the look of the unit is a little dull, although the large red and white logos do look pretty good.

There are large Antec logos on each side of the unit. If you have a case window that shows your power supply everyone will know that you are rocking an Antec power supply. On the top of the unit you have your typical input and output graph.

The back of the unit has a honeycomb design that will help with airflow. There is another smaller Antec logo on the back along with your power connection and power button. The bottom of the unit houses the 135 mm double ball bearing white LED fan. The fan is covered by honeycomb mesh.

The unit its semi-modular so your 24pin ATX and CPU power are connected to the unit. These cables are sleeved all the way into the power supply and there is a protector around the opening so the cables will not snag or rip. On the front of the unit are all of your modular connections. Interestingly enough there are two large 16-pin connectors. These will support the included PCI-Express connectors via an 8-pin connection, but Antec says these connections are future-proof to support 10, 12, 14 or 16pin connectors. The included modular cables have the following connectors: 4x 6+2 pin PCI-Express, 9x SATA, 6x Moles and 1x floppy.
