Apex Legends sure is making headlines. The free to play battle royale game definitely seems to be a hit! Respawn co-founder Vince Zampella has announced the game has already surpassed 25 million players in a week, yes a week!
While the 3-player teams seem to be working well, it looks like there might be some new game modes coming. Reliable Fortnite data miner ShiinaBR did some digging into the Apex Legends code and found evidence that solo and duos modes might be on the way.

Obviously nothing has been announced by EA or Respawn on this, so it could be added next week or 6 months from now. But you have to think that adding solo and duos makes sense.
Talking about what is to come in the future for Apex Legends, Respawn has shared their roadmap for the first year of Apex Legends. They plan to deliver 4 seasons (in March, June, September, and December). Each of these seasons will include new Legends, weapons, loot, and a Battle Pass.
