ASRock Radeon RX 5600 XT Phantom Gaming D3 6G OC Graphics Card Review

Final Thoughts

Once again ASRock has impressed us with a graphics card. It is quite impressive what they’ve done in such a short time with their graphics card division, it seems they really understand what gamers want. The Radeon RX 5600 XT Phantom Gaming D3 6G OC comes with a factory overclock so you have a boost clock of 1750 MHz and Game Clock of 1670 MHz. So you are going to get a slight performance boost over say a reference card.

The Radeon RX 5600 XT in general is a great card at its price point. In our testing you are going to be able to achieve over 100 FPS in 1080p titles and over 60 FPS in most 1440p titles. So this could easily be a 1440p card. On top of that if you are playing eSports titles you could match this card with 144 Hz refresh rate display and you’ll be set for 1080p.

One thing that is nice about this card is that via a BIOS update you can upgrade the memory from 12 Gbps to 14 Gbps, which will also give you a little bit of a performance boost. Overall though the RX 5600 XT is about 25% faster than the RX 5500 XT and about 20-25% slower than the RX 5700 XT.

Besides just performance ASRock has a really great card in the Phantom Gaming D3 6G OC. You have the nice triple-fan cooling solution and premium look. Not only does the cooling solution keep the GPU cool, but it is pretty quiet as well. It features 0db technology as well so the fans will turn off when the GPU is idle so the card will be silent. ASRock has outfitted the card with a nice metal backplate and RGB lighting. It is definitely one of the better looking RX 5600 XT’s out there.

Right now this card is selling for $289.99, which is only a $10 premium over reference card. With the overclock, custom cooling solution, metal backplate, and RGB lighting you are really getting a lot of value with this card! Overall ThinkComputers gives the ASRock Radeon RX 5600 XT Phantom Gaming D3 6G OC Graphics Card a 9 out of 10 score and our Recommended Award!
