ASUS Introduces Hyper M.2 x16 Riser Card

ASUS has just introduced their Hyper M.2 x16 riser card, which will allow users to add up to four extra M.2 SSDs to their build. The card has a true PCI-Express 3.0 x16 upstream interface, which then splits into four 32 Gb/s M.2-22110 slots (so up to 110 mm in length) with PCI-Express 3.0 x4 wiring each.

There is a large bushed aluminum shroud that covers the entire card, it also doubles as a heatsink for your M.2 drives. On the card is also a small lateral-blower fan, which will guide air from inside your case through the drives and then outside through the rear bracket on the card. You can actually turn this fan on or off via a physical switch on the card.
