ASUS releases new AGESA Firmware to support newly released Ryzen 3000XT Matisse processors

AMD is on track to have a busy month. They just announced the 3000XT series of processors, also labeled as the Matisse refresh. It looks like ASUS is wasting no time in providing additional support for these chipsets. It has just rolled out a new version of AGESA Firmware to provide support for the 3000XT chipsets. Read on!

The new AMD Matisse refresh has added three new chipsets to AMD’s roster. The Ryzen 9 3900XT, Ryzen 7 3800XT, and Ryzen 5 3600XT will work with the same AM4 socket, but ASUS is providing additional support to avoid any hiccups.

The report says that ASUS will provide BIOS updates with AGESA 1.0.0.6 for 300 and 400 series motherboards on the ASUS support website by the end of July. These updates will also equip the motherboards with support for the Ryzen 4000 series of chipsets, likely set to be released on July 21st.

You can download the updates for the 500 series ASUS motherboards (X570 AND B550) right now from the ASUS support website.
