Battlefield 2042 Portal Mode Debuts With EA Play Live

In case you missed the EA live event, there is nothing to worry about as below is the summary of all the awesome announcements:

Battlefield 2042:

The Battle 2042 and the rumored “BATTLEHUB (should be called the Battlefield Portal) is the talk of the town. The Battlefield Portal is an in-game community-driven platform that will allow players to create and find fantastic experiences made by the series’ creative and passionate community.

Players can use a web browser, tweaking team rations, victory conditions, and minute details like player movements and aiming to create their own custom Battlefield experience. There is also the option to play using maps, weapons, vehicles, and characters from Battlefield 1942, Battlefield: Bad Company 2, and Battlefield 3.

Apex Legends:

A new character was revealed for Apex Legends, Seer. Although, it looks similar to Blade but is slightly different. The character will show a heartbeat sensor when aiming down sights (ADS) which can give hints about the enemy’s location. As Apex’s Respawn Game Director, Chad Grenier, players can use Seer’s tactical ability, which sends drones from his chest to track and mark enemies.

In case a player is stuck in an intense situation where he/she keeps losing the enemy; Seer’s ability to create a bubble will help track the players. Ranked arenas coming with Emergence are also announced, which will release on 3 August.

Dead Space:

Last but not least was the announcement for an upcoming Dead Space title. Although a game-engine video teaser was only released, it certainly looks exciting. It will be a Dead Space remake which will debut on Xbox Series X|S, Playstation 5, and PC, and it is being made through the Frostbite engine.
