Specs for the upcoming NVIDIA RTX 3050 and RTX 3050 Ti were revealed last week, and now their benchmarks scores are also here.
Before we dive into the scores, let’s just go through the specs. Both the RTX 3050 and RTX 3050 Ti will be based on the same GA107 GPU. The Ray Tracing and Tensor Cores are the upgrades provided over the GTX 16 series. The RTX 3050 will have a 2048 CUDA core count that will offer 7.2 TFLOPs of single-precision compute power, while the RTX 3050 Ti’s 2560 CUDA cores will deliver 8.7 TFLOPs of single-precision compute power. Both the cards’ cores will be paired with the same 4GB RAM and will utilize the TDP range of 35W up to 80W. At the TDP of 80W, the 3050 will operate at a boost clock speed of up to 1740 MHz and the RTX 3050 Ti will achieve a boost clock speed of up to 1695 MHz.
As per the benchmarks received by Notebookcheck, the RTX 3050 Ti is roughly 9% faster than the RTX 3050 in 3DMark Timespy. While running Tomb Raider in medium settings, the RTX 3050 Ti is 15% faster than the RTX 3050 and 44% faster in ultra settings. In comparison to 1650 ti’s performance in the same game, the RTX 3050 Ti is 63% faster on medium settings and 44% faster on ultra settings. The RTX 3050 is 27% faster on medium settings and 36% on ultra settings.
