CD Projekt Red Says No Change in “Cyberpunk 2077” Release, Employees Will Work from Home

CD Projekt Red, the developer behind Cyberpunk 2077 has released a statement regarding its workers and the COVID-19 pandemic. With Cyberpunk 2077 being one of the most anticipated games of the year, CD Projekt Red said that these extraordinary circumstances will not affect the release of the game. The game is scheduled for a September 17th 2020 release on Windows, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Google Stadia. CDPR released a statement that all employees will be working from home till further notice.

Being pretty close to the release date most of “Cyberpunk 2077” is in post-production, game testing, and receiving the finishing touches. Many large companies have been forced to have their workforce stay at home and work remotely, which falls in line with the social distancing policies that aim to slow down the spread of the Coronavirus.
