In our first ever meeting with Lexar at CES, we were happy to see an update to their ARES DDR5 memory that we reviewed early in 2022. We have really liked the direction Lexar is taking with their storage and memory offerings, and we wanted to highlight the ARES RGB DDR5 desktop memory.
ARES RGB DDR5 Desktop Memory
We have seen a trend of RGB lighting being added to DDR5 modules here at CES 2023, and the Lexar ARES RGB DDR5 is included in that list of modules. Offered in both 6000 and 5600 speeds, in a 16GB x 2, 32GB kit, the ARES RGB is fully compatible with the Lexar RGB Sync application. With support for both Intel XMP 3.0 and AMD’s EXPO, these modules are sure to find their home in many new builds on the latest generation platforms.
Pricing was not available at this time, but we do expect to see this memory available around March of 2023.
