Cooler Master CK721 Wireless Mechanical Keyboard Review

My stack of mechanical keyboards seems to be steadily growing lately, and between review units and crowd-funded products, I’ve begun quite the collection. The latest keyboard added to the stack is the Cooler Master CK721, a 65% RGB keyboard with three connectivity options and some really great aesthetics to go along with its function. Whether you are aiming to gain some desk space by switching to a smaller keyboard, looking to gain some imaginary internet points for cool looks, or just trying to make the move to a keyboard that offers form and function, the Cooler Master CK721 might be what you’ve been looking for. Follow along as I take a closer look.

Special thanks to Cooler Master for providing the CK721 review sample!

Packaging

The CK721 comes packaged in a mostly white box with a matte finish and glossy imagery. A large image of the keyboard and included wrist rest takes up most of the top panel of the box, and is joined by a few icons indicating that this is a mechanical keyboard, with linear switches, RGB lighting, Bluetooth, and support for Cooler Master MasterPlus+ software.

The backside of the box has an angular view of the keyboard, with multiple call-outs that list and describe some of the more notable features of the CK721.

Cooler Master provided the CK721 with a nice and cozy box interior that does a great job of protecting the keyboard during transportation, and keeps the included accessories in their place as well.
