Cooler Master MasterAir MA410M CPU Cooler Review

Final Thoughts
Cooler Master had the right idea with the MasterAir MA410M, especially to attract people who want to add some bling and more importantly some RGB to their system. The mini addressable RGB controller that comes with this cooler is quite impressive and allows for some pretty awesome effects. On top of that it allows for you to connect it to a motherboard with an addressable RGB header for further control.

While the RGB controller is nice, the main function of a CPU cooler is of course to cool your CPU. So how does the MA410M do? It does a good job, but it is nothing to write home about. In our load testing it was only 1.87 degrees better than AMD’s own Wraith Prism RGB CPU cooler, which does come bundled with the Ryzen 7 2700X. So I would say if you already have the Wraith Prism RGB there really is no reason to go out and buy this cooler. Now if you have say the Wraith Spire or some type of Intel stock cooler the MA410M will be a nice upgrade as far as performance goes. We did expect a little more performance out of this cooler though, especially since you have two fans.

Right now this cooler is selling for $50.25 at our favorite online retailer. That price is not too bad considering you get the addressable RGB controller and two RGB fans, but purely based on performance there are better coolers out there for that price.

Overall ThinkComputers gives the Cooler Master MasterAir MA410M CPU Cooler an 8 out of 10 score.

Cons:
– Performance could be better
– Installation seemed over-complicated for what it was
– Would be quite hard to install in a case
