Cooler Master MasterAir MA624 Stealth CPU Cooler Review

Cooler Master MA624 Stealth Overview

The first thing you’ll notice about the Cooler Master MA624 Stealth is just how big it is! It has official dimensions of 144.9 x 153.2 x 160 mm, so while it is pretty big you shouldn’t have any clearance issue is most cases. Going with the “stealth” theme the MA624 is all black with black fans.

Starting at the front of the cooler you have one of Cooler Master’s 140 mm SickleFlow fans. These fans will operate between 650 – 1400 RPM with a max airflow of 67 CFM, max air pressure of 2.25 mmH2O, and max noise level of 27 dBA. There are actually two of these fans on the cooler in a push-pull setup.

Looking at the cooler from the side we can see the dual-tower design as well as the center fan. The front fan is held on by a simple plastic mount, which is much better than the typical fan clips we see on other coolers. Each heatsink tower has a cut-out towards the bottom to make sure they don’t interfere with your memory or VRM cooling.

At the top of the cooler there is an aluminum top cover with the Cooler Master logo right in the center.

Coming up from the base of the cooler are six heatpipes. These heatpipes go up into the heatsink towers in a “U” fashion, which is pretty typical for dual-tower coolers. The base of the cooler is pretty thick and has a very nice finish, but machining marks are visible.
