Cooler Master’s MasterBox series of cases sort of sits as their entry-level case series behind the ever popular MasterCase series. There are currently 10 cases in the MasterCase series, all of which are well under $100. The case we are checking out today is no different, the MasterBox Lite 5 RGB is only $69.99, but packs in the features. This mid tower case has a tempered glass side panel, 4 included cooling fans (3 of which are RGB fans), room for long graphics cards, tall CPU coolers, and much more. This case could be over of the best value cases that we’ve seen this year! Read on as we take a look!
Special thanks to Cooler Master for providing us with the MasterBox Lite 5 RGB Case to review.
The MasterBox Lite 5 RGB comes in a typical retail case box. As you can see our box was a little damaged during shipping, but hopefully nothing inside was effected. On one side there is an outline of the case.
On the opposite side of the box there is a little paragraph explaining the case. There is also some main features of the case listed in many different languages.
Opening the box up we can see the case is nicely protected by two large pieces of Styrofoam and plastic. We confirmed that there was no damage to the case at all.
The case comes with two trim covers (white and red), a RGB splitter for the fans, 3 4-pin to molex power connector for the fans, a handful of cable ties, mounting hardware, and a user’s guide. The accents are cool to have if you ever want to change the look of your system.
