Cooler Master MasterBox NR200P MAX Mini-ITX Case Review

A Look Inside

Getting inside the case is extremely easy. Both side panels are held into place with a sort of pin/clip design, which I like as you can just pull the panels off the case. You also don’t have to worry about any lock or thumbscrews on the side panel. With the side panels removed we can get a look inside. This is of course a mini-ITX case so all we have room inside for is a mini-ITX motherboard. You will notice that Cooler Master has already run your EPS power connector for you, which is definitely convenient.

Towards the front of the case you’ll see the power supply mount, which of course has the included 850W SFX power supply installed. We can also see our two 2.5-inch SSD mounts on the front of the case, but you can also mount either a 2.5-inch or 3.5-inch drive on the side of the power supply mount. So in total you can actually install four hard drives out of the box, which is pretty impressive for how small this case is. Cooler Master has pre-wired the power cable for the power supply to the rear of the case for you.

At the top of the case we have the pre-installed 280mm AiO, which seems to fit nice and snug inside the case. Most AiO’s these days do not have fan grills, but Cooler Master has installed them here as you are going to have a lot of cables in a very small space.

Moving over to the other side of the case we can see an opening for the installed power supply. This allows it to get proper airflow. Again it is nice to see many of the cables back here pre-wired to where they will connect to your motherboard.
