Building upon their existing TD500 chassis, Cooler Master has shown off the new TD 500 Mesh and TD500 Mesh White version at CES 2020. Nearly identical to the TD500, the front of the case has been “meshified’ to provide significantly better airflow to components inside.
The TD500 Mesh will be available in both black and white versions, each coming with either standard case fans or coming with three preinstalled 120mm ARGB fans in the front. A controller for the ARGB fans is integrated into the case, but the fans can also be connected to compatible motherboards for more system integration.
The redesigned front panel not only provides much better airflow via the mesh material, but its angular design really changes the look of the fan lighting depending on the angle you are viewing it from. This angular look has done well for other vendors, and we think Cooler Master’s iteration will be well received.
The tempered glass side panel has some really neat etchings that reflect the same angular lines found on the front of the case. This gives tempered glass side panels a new lease on life, and adds a bit of character to the rest of the case.
Depending on the version of the case chosen, pricing will be in the $99 to $109 range.
