MasterBox TD500 Mesh V2 Overview
As I mentioned we received the white version of the MasterBox TD500 Mesh V2, it is also available in black. Taking a first look it is about the size of your normal mid tower. The official dimensions are 499 x 210 x 500 mm.
At the front of the case we have a full mesh front bezel. The mesh is colored grey, which is a nice offset to the white color of the case. The mesh has a sort of polygonal design on it as well, which makes it stand out a bit more. Towards the bottom there is a small Cooler Master logo.
The front bezel of the case easily pops off if you pull on it from the bottom. With the bezel removed we find three preinstalled CF120 120mm ARGB fans. These are the only fans included with the case and they are run to an fan hub / ARGB controller which will get to shortly.
Moving up to towards the top of the case we find out connections and buttons. There are two USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A ports, a hard drive activity LED, large power button, combination 3.5mm jack, lighting button for the fans, and a USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C port.
At the top of the case we have a large ventilated section. It is covered with a magnetic filter, which is also grey. With it removed we can see that the top of the case will support three 120 mm or two 140 mm fans as well as radiators up to 360 mm. This part of the case can be removed for easy installation of fans or radiators.
Moving on to the side panels the main panel is a tempered glass side panel. This panel is slightly tined and has these sort of grooves cut into it, which definitely makes it stand out from other normal tempered glass side panels. The opposite side panel is just your normal glass panel.
The back of the case has your pretty standard layout with a fan mount towards the top, motherboard mount in the center, and your power supply mount at the bottom. The rear fan mount only supports 120 mm fans. For those wondering like typical mid towers we have a total of 7 expansion slots.
There is a filter that pulls out from the bottom of the case, this only extend as far as your power supply will go. On the bottom of the case there are four large feet that will lift the case off the ground.
