Mountain Everest 60 Gaming Keyboard Review

Last year we took a look at a very interesting keyboard from Mountain in their Everest Max. This keyboard offered a modular design with different elements that you could attach to the keyboard. While this keyboard was great, many people may not have wanted such a large keyboard. This is where the Mountain Everest 60 comes in, with a 60% form factor, Mountain’s own mechanical key switches, PBT keycaps, Cherry stabilizers, and you are still going to get the ability to add on different elements to this keyboard. With that Mountain sent us their Everest 60 numpad, which is an optional add-on for this board that can be attached to either side of the Everest 60.

Special thanks to Mountain for providing us with the Everest 60 Gaming Keyboard to review.

Specifications

Just like the original Everest Max, the Everest 60 comes in a box that says “Reach Your Summit” on the front and on the back we have a large picture of the keyboard with many of the features detailed.

This box really does give you a great unboxing experience as it sort of opens up and has a message from the founder of Mountain along with some sketches of the keyboard. In the bottom section of the box you’ll find all of your accessories. With everything out of the box you have the Everest 60 keyboard, USB-A to USB-C cable, a grey Mountain keycap, keycap and switch puller, four magnetic feet, a set of mountain stickers, and a quick start guide.
