Corsair Vengeance C70 Gaming Case Review

Vengeance C70 Overview
To really show you what this case is all about we have made an overview video, you can check it out below.

As I said this case is designed to look like an ammo box, but I don’t think that Corsair went overboard with it.  It is the perfect in between of a case and an ammo box.  Of course to look like an ammo box Corsair has painted it green, but they also offer it in black and white as well.  The case is a mid tower and is mostly made of steel with some plastic and rubber and and there.

The front of the case is green like the rest of the case with a black accent around the drive bays.  The top drive bay is reserved for your front panel connections and buttons.  As far as connections go you have two USB 3.0 ports and headphone and microphone jacks.  The power button is very large, red and designed to look like a military button.  The reset button has a cover on it that lifts up, much like a missile button, very cool!

There are three 5.25-inch drive bays and no 3.5-inch external bays, but who uses 3.5-inch external devices these days?  Moving down there is a large ventilated section with a Corsair logo in the middle.

The top of the case features two metal handles that allow you to easily pick up the case and they definitely add to the ammo box look.  There is a large ventilated section on the top of the case that does not have any fans pre-installed, but you can fit two 120/140mm fans.

The side panel of the case features a very large window with the same black accent that we saw on the front of the case.  On the window there are spots for two 120/140mm fans.  The side panels of the case are pretty unique as they do not have any screws holding them on.  They are held into place by two latches are the top of the case, again adding to that ammo box look.

The back of the case features a 120mm exhaust fan and two punch-out watercooling holes.  Towards the bottom of the case you have your power supply mounting and under the case is a very large removable filter.

If we flip the case over and take a look at the bottom there are two large feet that go horizontally across to the case.  These lift the case off the ground for proper airflow.  There is also a removable filter on the front of the case.
