All of the Corsair VOID have the same iconic design, which is not only made to look great, but be comfortable as well. While the other Corsair VOID headsets and black and white and the special edition is yellow, Corsair has gone with a black and red design on the VOID Surround. The is one of the larger gaming headsets out there.

The VOID Surround has that lay flat design that makes it easy to travel with. With the headset in this orientation we can see the red on the earcups and the large memory foam pad on the headband. This memory foam pad is quite thick and should make gaming for long hours very comfortable.

If we flip the headset over we can see that Corsair has gone with thick microfiber-wrapped memory foam earp pads on the earcups. This should add to the comfort of the headset. The headset is designed to sit over your ears to really lock in that sound. Inside of each earcup you will find 50 mm neodymium drivers. Here we can also see the adjustable noise-canceling microphone. This microphone can be moved up and down and is bendable for the best location.

On the left earcup you will find your controls which include a microphone mute button and a volume knob.

The headset is adjustable there are 10 different adjustment levels on each side of the headset. When you adjust the headset you will notice that the actual frame of the headset is made of metal. This means that the headset is not going to easily break and that it will last a long time. On the headband there is also a Corsair logo.

The 3.5 mm audio cable is attached to the headset and comes off of the left earcup. The cable is quite long and is protected on the ends so it won’t tear. This headset comes with the Dolby Headphone USB adapter which has a USB connection on one end and a 3.5 mm input on the other end.
