Cougar has just announced the launch of their new product, the MX330-G PRO, which is an ATX mid-tower case that includes the ability to accommodate up to two 5.25-inch drives. The front panel is constructed with an open mesh design to ensure optimal airflow.
The 5.25-inch drive bays have been specifically designed to minimize any intrusion into the case, with only a small section located on the left side of the bay to accommodate the front screws of the 5.25-inch drives, while the right side of the bay has been fully integrated with the motherboard tray for the entire row of screws.By removing the metal stub, users can install large 360 mm radiators along the front panel, and the 5.25-inch bay covers will maintain the same mesh surface as the rest of the front panel.
The layout of the MX330-G PRO is a conventional horizontally-partitioned design, where the motherboard tray offers sufficient space for graphics cards measuring up to 38.5 cm in length, and CPU coolers that are up to 16 cm tall. The case comes with three 140/120 mm front intakes, either three 120 mm or two 140 mm top exhausts, and a 120 mm rear exhaust for fan mounts.
The MX330-G PRO offers a variety of radiator mounting options, including up to 360 mm along the front, up to 360 mm along the top, and a 120 mm radiator along the rear panel. In addition to the two 5.25-inch drive bays, users also get two 3.5-inch trays, and up to three 2.5-inch drive mounts. The front panel connectivity consists of a USB 3.2 type-C with a 20 Gbps capability (20-pin key-A header), two USB 3.1 type-A, one USB 2.0 type-A, and a 4-pole headset jack. The case has dimensions of 209 mm x 495 mm x 475 mm (WxHxD). The pricing for this product has not been revealed by the company yet.
