Cougar Releases the Forza 85 CPU Cooler

Cougar has released their latest air CPU cooler, the Forza 85. This cooler features a typical aluminum single tower design, but it is thick at 85mm and has a high density as it has 50 fins. At the top of the cooler is a bushed-aluminum top-plate wit the Cougar logo. The cooler makes use of six 6mm-thick nickel-plated cooler heatpipes that of course start at the base of the cooler and go up into the heatsink tower. The base is also nickel-plated copper and has a mirror-like finish.

At the front of the cooler you have the only fan, which is Cougar’s own Vortex MHP120 (120mm) fan. This fan runs between 600 and 2000 RPM, pushing up to 82.48 CFM of air, with a max air pressure of 4.24 mm, and max noise level of 31.68 dBA. There is room for a second optional fan on the other side of the heatsink. The cooler will support LGA1700, AM4, and LGA1200. Official dimensions of the cooler with the fan installed are 135 mm x 110 mm x 160 mm (WxDxH) and it weighs in at 1.16 kg. No word yet on pricing.
