Could Apple be Sourcing AMD CPUs for their Products?

Since Apple switched over to the x86 machine architecture Intel has been their sole supplier of CPUs for their Macbooks, iMac desktops, and Mac Pro workstations. Apple has worked with AMD, using them to supply discrete GPUs. Could Apple be moving on from Intel? Or could we seen a Macbook SKU with an AMD processor? If pieces of code from a MacOS beta are legit Apple could be sourcing CPUs from AMD. References to several AMD processors were found in MacOS 10.15.4 Beta 1, which include AMD’s “Picasso,” “Renoir,” and “Van Gogh” APUs.

Microsoft actually released a Surface Laptop 3 SKU which featured an AMD CPU, could Apple be AMD’s next customer? Could Apple finally be seeing value in AMD’s single-chip solutions? The 7nm “Renoir” in particular could be a big winner for AMD as it combines an 8-core “Zen 2” CPU with a “Vega” based iGPU. Apple taking interest in AMD could also have to do with Intel’s supply issues, which are still on-going.
