System Overview & Testing the Crucial Pro Overclocking Edition DDR5-6400 32GB Memory Kit
Just like we mentioned in our previous review, when I installed the memory I was a bit disappointed to see the back of the memory facing out. Now this does make it easier to read if you ever need to, I would prefer to see the Crucial logo.
We are now using the Intel Z890 platform for memory reviews so here is a run-down of our new test system.
Processor: Intel Core Ultra 9 285K
Motherboard: ASUS ROG Maximus Z890 Hero
Graphics: ASUS ROG Strix RTX 4080 Super OC
Memory: Crucial Pro Overclocking Edition DDR5-6400 32GB
Storage: Patriot Viper VP4300 Lite
Cooling: ASUS ROG RYUJIN III 360 ARGB Extreme
Power Supply: Seasonic Vertex GX-1200
Case: Open PC Test Bench
Taking a look at CPU-Z we can see this memory is running at its XMP speeds of 6400 MHz with timings of 38-40-40-84 at 1.35V. We can also see that the kit has both Intel XMP and AMD EXPO timings.

For testing we will run the memory at these settings using the below benchmarking software. Below is a list of benchmarking software that we use.
– Passmark Performance Test 11.0 – Memory Mark
– AIDA64 Cache & Memory Benchmark
– 3DMark Fire Strike
– 3DMark Time Spy
– 3DMark Speedway
This is a brand new test bench so we do not have any memory to compare this to, but we will update these screenshots to graphs once we test more memory on this test bench!
