Crucial Pro Overclocking Edition DDR5-6400 CL32 32GB Memory Kit
As I mentioned Crucial sent us both the white and black versions of the memory, which do have their updated heatspreader. While it does have the same shape as the previous heatspreader, it now has a pretty cool design on it. The best way to describe it is a sort of winter camo. All I know is that it does look a lot better than the matte white or matte black that we saw on the previous versions of the memory.
Beyond the winter camo design, logo in the center has been changed. Previously it said Crucial by Micro, not its says Micro with a completely lowercase Crucial. Towards the end of the sticks it says “DDR5”.
Flipping the sticks over on the back in the center is going to be your sticker with all of the information on the kit. As a reminder this is a 32GB (2x16GB) kit that operates at 6400 MHz with timings of 32-40-40-103 at 1.35V.
The top edge of the memory has also been changed. It is now a separate piece from the actual heatspreader which says “Crucial Pro” on it. We of course do not have any RGB lighting here, maybe since we have a two piece design we could see RGB DDR5 from Crucial in the future.
I didn’t see any mention of the height, which is apparently 35mm based on the Amazon listing. This is essential for those of us who refuse to use watercooling and need to know that we would have to raise the front fan on our Noctua D15 G2 3mm when using these dimms.
